This has been done before, but from South to North. What they are proposing is much more difficult considering the prevaling winds.
I hope they did their research about the weather of the area and the dangers of open crossings.

They seem extremely lighthearted about it, but ultimatekayaktrip – that’s a bit absurd isn’t it? I don’t know.. Makes me wonder if they’re joking as well. The gulf seems like a terrible place for small craft, but it’s been done in a big canoe – North to South.
